On the 1st September 2015 anyone interested in gaining experience and knowledge in outdoor learning

On the 1st September 2015 anyone interested in gaining experience and knowledge in outdoor learning can apply to complete one of the new exciting Agored Cymru qualifications.

These qualifications have been developed by members of the Outdoor Learning Training Network in Wales and will be exclusively available to learners and trainers in Wales.

The new suite of qualifications includes favourites like Forest School, but now also includes the opportunity to become a Coastal School Leader and a skilled Practitioner or Co-ordinator in Outdoor Learning.

Education professionals and those working with groups in the outdoors will be able to select a pathway to a qualification that suits them, their setting and local natural environment.

The qualifications all have mandatory skills that need to be achieved followed by a choice of final study which, will lead to an accredited nationally recognised qualification.

Check out the OLW website, and go to outdoor learning training pages for more information and who to contact in your area to help you get involved in outdoor learning.
