Agored Cymru is an Awarding Body regulated against the Standard Conditions of Recognition by Qualifications Wales, the regulator of qualifications in Wales under the Qualifications Wales Act 2015 and as applied by the Qualifications Wales Act 2015 (Commencement No. 2 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2015.

Agored Cymru is committed to developing learner talent in Wales, for Wales. We work with over 250 centres across Wales to develop qualifications and award credit to learners. We have over 30 years of unparalleled experience. Our qualifications are widely recognised, valued and respected. Our success as one of the leading Welsh Awarding Bodies is underpinned by anticipating and responding to the employment needs of Wales, national agendas and Welsh Government education priorities.
