On September 25th, 2015 the United Nations will announce The Global Goals for Sustainable Development, a set of goals for the world that aim to make our planet fair, healthy and sustainable by 2030. Welsh Government have pledged support and education organisations from around the world are joining together across the world to deliver the World’s Largest Lesson.
It’s one great big opportunity to foster global citizenship in school, support students learning across a range of subject areas such as science, geography, citizenship and technology and develop big ideas including human rights, poverty, and environmental issues.
Natural Resources Wales Education Team are getting involved by offering linked sessions throughout the week across Wales, so contact your local education officer or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Network groups can apply using the special grant form available on this website. The special grant will be available from 1st September 2015 to 31st August 2016.
